3. Terms of Sale

  1. Pet Only / Limited Registration:

    • This puppy is sold as a companion pet only.

    • Buyer will receive limited registration papers (AKC/CKC or other registry), which do not allow breeding or showing in conformation classes.

  2. Spay/Neuter Requirement:

    • Buyer agrees to have the puppy spayed/neutered by ___________ (age/date).

    • Proof of the procedure (veterinary certificate) must be provided to Seller within 30 days of completion.

    • If Buyer fails to comply, Buyer agrees to pay Seller $__________ as liquidated damages for breach of contract, and registration papers will be considered void.

  3. Health Guarantee:

    • Seller guarantees the puppy is healthy at the time of sale.

    • Buyer has  30 business days to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian.

    • If puppy is found to have a life-threatening condition (excluding minor treatable issues such as parasites or kennel cough), Buyer may return puppy for a full refund or replacement.

  4. No Warranty Beyond Above: Seller is not responsible for medical expenses after transfer, except as stated in the health guarantee.

  5. Return Policy: If Buyer can no longer keep the puppy for any reason, Seller has the first right of refusal to take the puppy back. Buyer agrees not to rehome, resell, or surrender puppy to a shelter or rescue.

4. Buyer’s Responsibilities

  • Provide proper food, shelter, exercise, and medical care.

  • Puppy will not be bred under any circumstances.

  • Buyer will complete spay/neuter by agreed date and provide proof to Seller.

5. Legal Provisions

  • This contract is binding upon both parties.

  • Any disputes shall be resolved in the jurisdiction of Seller’s county/state.

  • Buyer acknowledges that breach of the spay/neuter or pet-only clause may result in legal action.
